Unit 1 Chapter 1 Study Guide: You will have 20 minutes to complete your study guide. When you have finished your study guide, bring it up and show it to me so that I can give your points for your work. The study guide is worth 30 points. Make sure you have used loose-leaf paper and pen on your study guide.
Unit 1 Chapter 1 PowerPoint: We will go over the key words so that you can check your answers on your study guide. I don’t grade for accuracy on your study guide but rather that you have completed it.
Unit 1 Chapter 1 Quiz: Next class period, you are scheduled to take your online Quiz quiz over Unit 1 Chapter 1. You will receive your Quia passwords right before we take the quiz. You must hang on to your passwords. You will need them for all of your quizzes and tests.
Unit 1 Chapter 1 Worksheet: This worksheet is on whether you can discern wants from needs. We will correct the worksheet in class. If you lose yours, you may download another copy by clicking on the link below.

Goal Setting: On a piece of paper, you are to do the following exercise. Answer the questions as thoroughly as you can.
1. What is your desired grade for this class?
2. What steps will you take to ensure that you receive this grade? Be thorough, and lay-out all of the steps that will help you accomplish your goals. In this class, you will be doing study guides, quizzes, tests, projects and (maybe) blogging on issues.
3. When and how often will you compare your desired goal with the actual grade you are earning in the class?
Unit 1: Chapter 1: Economic Systems
Unit 1 Chapter 1 Handout: Please download the following handout to your USB. If you do not have your USB, you may open this up at home by going to the website. Read through the handout. As you go, you may answer the key words and concept sections on your study guide. Remember: Follow the directions for you study guide. DO NOT USE pen or paper that is torn out of a notebook; you are to use looseleaf paper. If you do not have loose leaf paper, just ask.
Unit 1 Chapter 1 Study Guide: Please open up this study guide and begin to answer the key words and concepts as your read through the study guide. When you finish your study guide, turn it in for a grade for completion. When we go over it in class, you are to correct in red, and errors or additions that you will need to make on your study guide. The study guide is due before you leave class today.
Unit 1 Chapter 1 Quiz: In our next class period, you will take the quiz over Unit 1 Chapter 1 study guide. You will need your username and password to take the quiz. Go to the Quizzes and Test page to take your quiz.
